CAN i custom 53' Willys with Yj SHOCKS on my 97 ZJ???????????/

hey, im about to buy some rancho rs9000 shocks off a 53' Willys with Yj. im wondering if i can custom fit or does it direct fit on my 97 grand cherokee. Plus, he said his car had a 4" lift... but does that lift come from the shocks?? or springs/coilovers???? because i know for honda, its mostly about the coilovers that lower a car. i need help asap before he sells them!! thanks guys!! :shades:

No lift doesnt come from shocks, it comes from many components (control arms, springs, etc...) and no you cant put shocks from a 4" lift on your stock suspension.
