That's not really any different then somebody doing an SOA (5.5" lift) and using the RE SOA springs (1.5" lift), plenty of people run that.
I got your jeep thing, now it burns when I pee

I dont know too much about YJ's, but that seems pretty drastic to clear 35's and will definately put your center of gravity WAY high. you should only need 5.5 inches or so. Im sure Erik can chime in and give some advise. I would be very afraid of rolling over.

This is what I run and I still had to trim the fenders a little.

4" sua and a 1" body lift and TJ fender flares on the rear will clear 35"s just fine.

I have a SOA with custom springs. It started out as about 6" of lift and settled to about 5-1/4 after some use. I run 33" tires but could easily run 35's. I like the setup I have. I'm running 4:56 gears. 5th gear is still useable most of the time.

1" body lift 4" SUA and TJ fenders....All you need for 35"s plus as well as being easier to install the lower center of gravity helps dramatically in the nasty stuff..

Mighty 4 banger YJ, 35's,4.88's, 30 splines, Detroits, 4.5" lift, TJ flares, Scorpion Offroad stuff, blah, blah, blah.

my welding teacher runs a setup like this one with the spring over and add-a-leafs and he has 37 but i want to have more flex before stuffing the tires way into the front fenders. or the rear for that matter. plus i like how thic kit has everything i need plus it is bolt on to easily swap out the axles. i plan on swaping out the 30 and 35 for 44s.
