body lift, now tight steering

like the title says i lifted it by 1" now the steering is tight as hell, i can barely turn it, what are my solutions?

Easy, there is a bolt on your steering shaft closer to the firewall, losen that a little and the steering shaft should slide a little bit, then tighten the bolt back up and it should be good. Does that make sense? Mine did the same with my 2" body, the shaft needs to be extended an inch since the body is an inch higher and its pulling your steering wheel against the steering colum.

if that doesnt work, add a bit of heat to the steering shaft where the 2 pieces slide inside one another. NOT A LOT OF HEAT.

i did that one first and it made it somewhat driveable, gonna do the bolt one now, thaks guys
