Whats a good pressure to run my Fox 2.0 emultion rear shocks at? They are at 200psi now I belive, or whatever Fox set them at and they are a little to stiff.
What is the current valving on the shocks now? It should be scribed under the rubber stopper something like 40/60 (Compression/rebound). Usually they are charged at 180-200psi. If they are too stiff, lowering the N2 PSI won’t make them softer you will actually need to get them re-valved or re-valve them yourself to what your needs are. Re-valving Fox shocks is very easy it only takes me 40min per shock for my Rese. 2.0’s including taking them off and back to the jeep. Even after you re-valved the shocks you might still NOT like the way they work on your Jeep. It’s all trial and error until you like the way they feel on the Jeep. If you deside to doit yourself you will need a few shim packs 50’s 70’s and 90’s and with those you can build anything in between. The N2 charging system will cost you about $60-$80 if you piece it together yourself. I got a N2 regulator, a no-lost- air valve with high PSI hose for $30. Then a 20cft use bottle for $10 and for $14 you can get the bottle refilled. Check ebay, Recycler, Penny saver and CL. I guess you can get some good deals on other peoples junk good luck.
