Did my Jeep get shorter?

If you push down on the front or back, or jump on and jump off, does your XJ level out quickly? Or does it bounce a little. If it bounces, then the shocks are worn. If you did and jumping and/or the shocks bottomed out, then that can blow out the shocks and cause a bad ride. I would just suggest some Monroe or any other gas charged shock. Good luck

I have a 99 XJ all stock. I went dune riding at the beach and ever since then I sweare the ride is way bumpy, and that the rear looks a bit lower. Maybe I am nuts, but can I wear out shocks that easily? The XJ has 65k miles. Is it time for new shocks anyways. If so, what do you recommend for a daily driver?
