  • TJ: Rear Sway Bars

I've recently found out Betelgeuse does not have read sway bars. They weren't taken off; the build sheet from Jeep shows they were never installed. I suppose they were an option.

Not having them has not hamperred my street driving even with a 2" lift. However, now that I will be getting a 3.5" lift how much of a boatty ride am I to expect?

What would the general consensus be: Intall them, or leave it be?

Savi, I would say try out your new lift and see how she handles in corners, if you are feeling a little wobbly, you could always add it after the fact. See how stiff the springs will be, and go from there.

The stock SE TJ did not come with a rear swaybar, but you can bolt one in all the mounts are there, it will help handling some on and offroad
