  • Drop brackets,

Ok question is if you have a track bar with a drop down bracket do you need a drop pitman arm to keep the same angle? is it a must?

Also do you have to have both or can one be different?

Reason why I just got a new track bar that bolts directly to the frame mount. I finally got rid of the drop down track bar bracket. Was a POS. and been using a drop pitman arm but the angles were completely different. I hate pro crap stuff.

depends om your springs 4" lift or less you should not need a drop pitman arm

The drag link and track bar should be parallel. Usually that means if you have a drop track bar mount, you would probably want a drop pitman arm. If you have the track bar mounted to the stock location, you probably don't want a drop pitman arm or you'll get bump steer.

Keep the drag link and track bar parallel!
