you just need to compare one to the other.. if you feel that you are getting the better side of the trade... go for it

Trade is no different than a sale. Just swap titles and go to dmv and change info,.

Hi all, thanks for all of the response. At present I don't know all the details of her Jeep. We've been playing phone tag for the past day and a half. I should be able to get some details tomorrow. I'll keep you posted.

Well it looks like a vehicle swap is out, she still owes on it, and doesn't really want to trade. She is however going to call the guy she bought it off of and get all of the lift details for me. She wants to get rid of the lift and the big tires. Doesn't like climbing into the tall jeep. So when I find out the details on the lift (i.e. how much of it is suspension vs. body or shackle) I'll get back. Cheers all.
