Just make 2 straps out of some flat stock and bolt them to the lower control arm works like a charm
some flatstock about 3/4" wide and about 3/16 in thickness is strong enough to keep the springs in place

I think they used to bolt the coil on TJs at the bottom, but most that I've seen just have the holes and do not have the strap to hold the bottom of the coil . . . just another way for Jeep to save a dime.

Not sure about JKs . . . But I believe that TJs have two small holes where a strap can be placed around the coil to keep it in place . . . I've heard that Jeep used to put them on but don't anymore.

i had a coil unseat itself and was wanting to know if you guys have any tips for keeping the coils in place. was thinking of bolting some washers over the base of the coil on the perch. what do ya think?Tags: None
