  • New rear shocks

My rear shocks are shot. Looking for advice on new ones. I have a 2000 TJ with a 3" lift. I need something that will work well for both trails and rocks.

    Whattaya guys like?

I have Bilstein 5100s all the way around. Good stuff as long as you don't go too big on your lift.

That is one of the options that I was looking at. I have bilsteins on my truck and I love them.

Where did you get them? How much (if you don't mind me asking)?

The former owner bought them at 4 Wheel Parts. I think JC Whitney sells them too. Quadratec definitely.

I am partial to Edelbrocks. Currently they are selling some of the older red monotube shocks for 29.95 on the Edelbrock website. Hard to beat for the price.

Went with the Bilstien 5100's. My "local" shop got them overnight and even threw them on for me. Man, didn't know how bad my old ones were. Now I can't wait to see how they hold up on the trails.

            Thanks for the feedback!
