  • Where to mount a tranny temp gauge sender

Anyone have a better/easier solution for mounting a tranny temperature gauge sender than welding a bung into the pan and placing the sender there? Like is there something made that goes into the tranny cooler lines that is made for a temperature sender? I'm a little nervous about welding a bung into the tranny pan (I'm barely past the beginner stage of MIG welding) but would if that's the best location. TIA!

should be easy to weld that up! and if your worried, do what i always do, silicone followed by rockerguard!

Thanks, yeah I'm actually kind of looking forward to welding it in place so long as I can avoid warping the pan too badly.

Looks like I'll be up there in your neck of the woods, Winnipeg, on biz next week. Wow, it's getting down into the 32-33 degree (faranheit) temperature range up there already.
