How do you inspect an automatic tranny for TJ?

My sister manage to burn the engine compartment of my jeep while she was in the city, now i have a jeep that the trans does not work, what should i look for and how many fuse boxes those the 02 jeep wrangler sport have, i lost the manual, so i am stuck?

I believe its just two. One under the hood and one behind the glove box. i could be wrong. Im sure someone else will chime in

There's a fuse box behind the glove box and one under the hood, power distribution I think.
Send me some $$ to cover cost and I'll send you a copy of the service manual for an 02 on CD. PM me if interested.

The trans is not controled by anything electrical, except the torque converter lockup. What is it doing (or not doing)?
