  • intake/exhaust manifold removal tips needed

I have a freeze plug leak that needs replacing. After removal of the bolts that hold the intake and exhaust manifold, will the intake come off separte from the exhaust manifold or do they have to come off together? Any other tips with this proceedure is welcome. It was a pain in the a$$ getting this far. Everything seems to be disconnected ready for manifold removal, but it seems like it doesnt want to come off. Is there a trick like press down or up, twist to the left or twist to the right....do the hokie pokie and turn it all about.....thanks

That has a lot of pics and whatnot. It's actually really easy. They come apart seperately even though they share a gasket and some bolts. You'll see when you get everything ready to come off.
