Finally Fixed!
I know that this is an old thread, but I wanted to update the post. I only had moderate results by changing the fan clutch. I installed a 3-core radiator recently and the results have been dramatic!
I ran Rattlesnake Canyon recently with Zero troubles on the high speed trip through the desert to get there. But in that case I didn't run the air conditioner....
Today, I drove up steep mountain roads (CA 18 from San Berdoo to Arrowhead) with four people in the Jeep, the AC running full blast, and 107 degree temps at the bottom of the hill. Mr. Green never got above 215 degrees!
I really appreciate Kevin's (brokenujoint) and Maxwell's (Max7) input. I couldn't be happier with the results!
