well like it says im having fuel gauge problems. when it says im at about 3/4 to 1/2 im really empty. now would this be a problem with my float? electrial? or even the guage itself?

99% chance it's nothing more than a bad float or sender, both of which are part of the same assembly. I'd be very surprised if it were the gauge.

It is quite normal for the tank sending unit to fail. I see it all of the time.
