I know this is a really silly question. But on a stock jeep rim is the rim 7" or 8" wide?

Yes. Some are only 6".

Obviously there are different types of wheels, however as an FYI, the stock wheels that were on my '98 were 7" wide. They were the "Grizzly" style.

If you cannot find the answer here or elsewhere on the web - ask your local dealership to run your VIN. They can pull up the original "sticker" and tell you exactly what your Jeep came out of the factory with.

Your Sahara came with 15x8 wheels if it came with the 30" tire and aluminum wheel package which it likely did.

Thank you. I didnt really have much of a way to check during this week since i didnt have much access to the shop. Tomorrow when i go in i have to drop my skip plate and see why the cat isnt connected to the rest of my pipe anymore :S

I just purchased a set of Aluminum wheels from a friend. They are from his 98 Sahara, stock rims. The ones with the five hole pattern. I will be putting them on my 95 Sahara. I think it's gunna look really nice!

Opppsss! I forgot to tell you about the rims.. it's the 8" wide. Hope what I shared to you may help. Goodluck

Yea i got my new black steelies iam sure they wont stay that new for long but o well. the only thing around here is mud
