  • Axle Centering & Back Spacing

I've got a RE ADJ Trackbar and 4" PC Springs. I feel like my jeep is driving a little sideways though.

Whats the correct procedure to center the axle?

Also, I've got 4.5" BS Wheels with 35s. Its sucked in WAY to much and my turning sucks.

Since I'm a cali newbie can I get away with 4" of BS or maybe 3.75"

    Thanks

I think for TJ's 4" or 3.75" is the proper ammount of BS. As for driving side ways, try this: Measure to see if the front axle is centered by taking a tape measure fron a point in the frame to the outer most casting mark. Do the same for the other side, and the same point on the frame. Take note of the measurement and adjust accordingly. Try to get the measurment the same, side to side. Do the same for the rear, but if you dont have an adjustable rear bar, you wont be able to do anything about it.

For the rear, just bounce it a few times. For the front, turn the wheels side to side a few times. Make sure you get an alignment.
