25 Automatic Idle Speed (AIS) motor driver circuit shorted
or target idle not reached, vacuum leak found


what is this AIS?
i have been getting this error code. the jeep drives fine until i get on it a bit. then there is a bump in the acceleration as if it were a clogged fuel filter, then this code/check engine light. it continues to feel normal while driving.

is this some sensor on the throttle body?
i have recently pressure washed under the hood. i see no evidence of a loose vacuum line.

any suggestions are appreciated.

Maybe the idle motor needs to be replaced?

i got it figured out. i took the whole throttle body apart and cleaned it up real nice like
no more error code. there was some tar in the motor plunger preventing a good seal.
