just wonderin how often should the distributer cap and rotor should be replaced, on a 98 jeep wrangler

Everytime I change the oil, I change the cap and rotor. Call it overkill but with the crappy gas mileage Jeeps get, anything helps. So to answer your question, about every 4,000 miles.
