Yeah trees are not axle shaft friends. One year on Rubicon some knuckleheads were trying to roll their Samurai by climbing a tree. After about a dozen attempts these dudes ended up coming back down the tree and hitting a stump from behind his tie rod and bending it out toward the front of his rig. The tie rod was toast and they were begging people for a welder to fix it. Not too many people were sympathetic. It's hard to want to help folks out when they are that stupid.
