  • CJ steering wheel

Has anyone made a home version (insert cheep here) of a steering wheel puller. Actually not the puller, got the steering wheel off, next is a lock-plate deal that needs to be pushed in to pull this little clip out to get at the turn signal and the lock mechanism.
This is for an 82 CJ7.

If you go to like an AutoZone or Kragen, they rent tools out for free. You might want to check with them. Good luck

Thanks, all back together again with a new lock cylinder and working turn signals.
Used some junk off the garage floor to make a depressor.
