    Hey guys been looking foward to getting one of these,but i was looking throughmy Quadratec catalog, and it looks as iff it's only made for the 4.0L,i have the 4.2L,will it still work? I really want thisbut not sure if t will comply with my engine,anyone got any ideas????

    wow... you sure want a ot of stuff
    do you plan to do some DEEP water crossings? if not... spend your money on something more effective for your style of wheeling

        No offense to Quadratec, but look elsewhere too. That is my suggestion. You obviously spend a fair amount of time online. Do some searches for Safari Snorkels and see what is out there. Quadratec is not the be all, and end all of Jeeping. If that were true, I wouldn't have found a power steering setup for my 71 CJ. I am so looking forward to having that someday soon.

          I had a snorkel on my 88 XJ and never used it. I think the only real advantage to having a snorkel is that the engine breathes cool air. Check the ARB website to see if they list a snorkel for you application.
