  • WJ Brakes and 15" Wheels

I am going to take the plunge and get alloy wheels. I want to stay with a 15" wheel but I have the WJ Brakes.

For those with WJ Brakes and 15 wheels, what are you using? I am trying to stick with known good wheels so I do not have to worry about clearance issues with the calipers.

    Thanks
    Michael

I have the WJ steering on my TJ with 15x8 wheels 3.25" BS. But I´m using the more compact Cobra calipers (glad I did). Blaine helped me out.

99 WJ calipers and 4" BS rims but I have the Warn kit so that makes them more like 3" BS I think. Fit's just fine

You'll have to grind on the calipers a bit to make most rims fits. There are some M/T rims that will clear them. I believe the mickey thompson challengers will fit and the classic 2 possibly.

                Thanks all.

My Cragar 397 15" fit without any problems. I was really looking to see people with "I run the Eagle Alloy Blah X-12 and did not have any problems".

Of course, grinding them down is not an issue either.

Sorry man, I've tried 4 different kinds of rims and had no issue's with any. 2 aluminum and 2 steel. I just don't care enough to know what brand and such they all are.
