Need Help. Sometimes when I start up my signal and radio don't work, but if I turn off the engine and restart it works. Any Ideas of where I should start looking?

It almost sounds like there could be moisture in your ignition switch, or somehow it's not making good contact internally. Have you tried wiggling the ignition switch while it's running to see if you can get it to make contact and light up your signals or radio?. Is it a factory radio or has an aftermarket version been installed? If it's the latter, perhaps they tapped into a differenct power source. There are any number of possibilities.
I don't think the signal flasher and radio are on the same circuits. Are you having any of the same issues with other accessories, like cigar lighter, heater blower, etc.?
Do you run topless and get rain on the inside of your rig?
Have you tried replacing the fuses for those components? -
Only ran around topless in the rain once. :omg: As for the radio its an aftermarket radio, maybe they tapped into the same power. I'll change the fuses, hope its that simple.Originally posted by cjdirtbikerComment
