  • Tie rod advice

All this rushing to put the jeep back together and I forgot all about my tie rod. It's bent. Pretty bad. Do you guys think I should risk running it on the trail? Do you think it will fail?

It will fail, once bent, it's done. Put a pipe or handy man handle over it. Or replace it..

WTF is wrong with your steering?!?!?! The damn pitman arm is outside the jeep!

I would just make one. Nice a beefy like!

I took out my steering box and it is going back in this week. There is lots more wrong with the jeep than can be seen in this picture.

Wow, I thought my tie rod was tweaked, but yours has about twice the bend of mine. Mine is starting to go in the same place. I will be replacing with the currie steering.
