I know lots of people that run that same axle. Get the HP44 out of the front if you can.

the front is a drivers drop, so no good for my cj.

Now for a new twist. Sunday I picked up front and rear 44 from a scout. So I am planning on running them instead. Anyone need a 9" cheap.

Out of curiousity, Why did you decide to go with the 44 instead of the 9?

most of the info I got was that the early bronco was weaker that the 44. It had smaller bearings and smaller shafts 27 spline instead of the larger 30 spline shafts. also has a lower pinion output.

I still have both and the 9" looks more beefy. Still a little undecided.
