Deb and I like the 5150's very much with the RE 5.5 springs on her XJ. They supposedly don't like being exposed to droop forces though and she had limiter straps put on the rear. Oddly the front's don't seem to mind the abuse they got at Moab.

They are a very cushy and controlled rebound when coming off of an obstacle. Perhaps you could give them a twirl the next time we go on a group ride.

BTW, the 33's like the 5.5" lift a lot, but there was still a minor clearance issue on the rears that was solved when the tires made their own room in the back on a couple of ruts on the Mojave road. These were BFG MT's. Smaller 33's may not have an issue. She is also running after-market bumpers which weigh the vehicle down a bit more.

      Hey Ted,
Do you know the length of the shock your running and is it 255/70 valving?
Im gonna be running a 4.5 kit you think the 8.33" travel 255/70
22.50 extended 14.17 collapsed will be suitable??

      Thanks
