don't worry about the front bumper... but spend your mula on skids! gas tank (Kilby), tummy tucker, that kind of stuff.

yeah my tires are pretty worn but they get me around town.

      i was thinking the tires.

i do like the idea of gas tank skid and front differential protection, and i can honestly hold off on a belly up, "tummy tucker are you calling me fat? just kidding, ive seen the nth degree and for $450 i think i'll hold off and save the rest of the money for tires

Get the armor. It is something you will NEVER outgrow. How often do you see people selling their skids on line?

The tires you should replace if they are a safety issue, but otherwise I'd not be too worried about it. On the other hand, can you imagine how much it would hurt to replace your tranny or t-case?

          id do option one.
for the gas tank, the warn is the same as kilby for less money.
t&j cover is good, but if i had it to do again, i'd get the crane cover, or the blue torch fab.
i have some spare yj afront axles we may be able to discuss. i'll see what i have and let you know.

Did you tear open your oil pan or trans pan. I put a hole in my tranny pan oin Rick's wash. I had to remove the cross member and stock skid plate because when I put on the lift, I got so much flex that the front drive shaft was hitting. Now it is just out there in the open. I looked around and there is no one that I have seen that sells one for an '04.

ANy ideas anyone?? (sorry to hijack the thread)

What are you doing that's tearing up the oil pan??

I've been doing this for 30+ years, and never even considered needing an oil pan skid.

FWIW - I vote for tires also!
