  • Fully Polished Winch

    Did anyone else see on page 66 of the December 2004 issue of Petersen's 4-wheel and Off-road the fully polished Warn winch. I'm curious if anyone knows how they did that? My guess is that it was taken apart and the case was sandblasted and then polished... It would be cool if it could be done to one of the shelf without haveing to take it apart.

    I didn't see it, but I am guessing you are right about it being pulled apart then polished. They are not hard to disassemble, at least mine wasn't. I don't think I would like having a polished winch though....too much work and lots of light reflecting off of it.......

      I know but I thought it looked cool... Im a sucker for good looks sometimes... I guess that is why I love Jeeps so much!
