  • Tj Exhaust On A Yj

well, i went and got the tj exhaust, and mounted it up on my yj.
i finally found it at jeeps only in the valley.
i got the whole system for a very fair price. it is almost exactly the same as a yj's exhaust as far as fitment, except the last 2 feet or so.
i will have an exhaust shop bend that last couple of feet of tube for me.

the reason i went through all of this to fit the tj set up under there is to gain clearance.
those of you with a yj know the exhaust is routed under the transmission, and takes up faluable clearance.
on the tj, it is routed in front of the oil pan, and is completely out of the way. this will allow me the needed space to design, and build a great skid plate from my current oil pan skid, straight back to the tummy tucker.
i will post some pics, and a thread of that whole thing when i get the rest of the parts to put it together. i will be fabricating this myself.

      is it a loud flowmaster?
i like it pretty quiet, but a little rumble would be ok.
