clutch disc questions

When I put my foot on the clutch pedal, does the clutch disc stop spinning,does
it spin in netural? The spring pack is very close to the three fingers on the clutch
disc cover and if the disc continues to spin the three fingers on the clutch disc
cover will hit the spring on the cutch disc

Can you snap a pic of this ? I am a little confused with your question .
