Megasquirt ECU systems vs. Fast Fuel Systems

Have any of you ever tried the megasquirt ECU systems on any vehicles? My Jeep is finally running well with the http://www.fuelairspark.com/fas/mult...-base-kithtml/ ECU system. However this system the Jeep does not like a cold start at all. Supposedly the Megasquirt system if fully tunable and will address and eliminate all the cold start issues and can have a custom tune for my Jeep engine.

I can drive my Jeep away now and be done with it or spend another $1,500 to the have Megasquirt system added, calibrated, custom tuned and dynoed specifically for my 4.8L YJ motor.

Thoughts or experience is appreciated.

I controlled the buick v6 with a megasquirt. They are fully tunable, you need someone who really knows how to tune it or be willing to spend some time on it. You remember how much I messed with mine.

We had megasquirt on one of the race cars at work. As Jona said their very tune-able. One of the guys was pretty good with them but he had to play with it on the dyno alot before it was right. If you get the tuning software and a laptop, over time you can set it where you want. These are not user friendly (at least to me). I started to play with the one at work but didn't have time to properly learn it. Their good computers and you can configure them to do anything.
They try different systems at work all the time, from what I see most are designed for racing not street. What that means is they normally don't bother with self learning, cold start.....ect. They just go here to here with foot into it. I was told the latest generation of mega squirt has or can have self learn (adapting shift, driving habits, ect)but, I never looked into it.

good feedback. I would not be the one trying to figure it out.. the guys over at the dyno shop offer the system. They install and dyno it until it is right. at this point in time that is all I want. I just want to be able to drive my lil YJ again.
