Currently my RCI fuel cell sits in the back of my jeep, behind where my backseat used to be. As time moved on I have lost the backseat and now I want to make room for storage of tools and stuff. For anyone that has installed a fuel cell, is there any reason as to why I cannot relocate it to one side of the jeep instead of it sitting side to side like they all do. I'm thinking about turning it longways on the drivers side.

See no reason why you couldn't, as long as you have good fuel pickups so the pump doesn't run dry -
I'm running the stock TJ fuel pump in the RCI and haven't had any issues as of yet. Supposedly this fuel pump keeps about 1 pint of fuel in the pump before it goes dry, just enough to get me over a ledge if needed I guess.Comment
