How Warm Will a Wrangler PCM Get

I have a jeep wrangler 2002 X model and had to replace a connector on wiring to the PCM, Am sure I got all the connectors and wires right because I have no check engine light and no bad codes, But can anybody tell me how warm will a PCM get? I check my PCM after a 10 mile drive and seems to get very warm? but again I have never checked it before and this very warm PCM was ok and was hoping my wires was right. Thanks and anyone has any advice or own Wrangler 2002 or up please check yours and let me know.

I don't know the answer, but is it hotter than everything near it? The engine bay itself gets pretty warm.

yes about the same but seem to warm on its own, its behind the battery it has 3 connectors on it.
