This is more of a public service announcement..
I was at the pick and pull in Oceanside yesterday. There was an XJ tucked away in the back corner of the lot that the hood wouldn't open. I pulled the hood cable with a vice grip and inside was a chevy V6 with a eldlebrock torker intake, new 4 barrel edlebrock carb, msd ignition, accel super coil, headers, chrome valve covers, chrome air cleaner. it was a 5 speed with bushwacker pocket flares, a skyjacker 4 or 6" suspension, and it had a high pinion 30 in the front. I think only the very early XJ's had the chevy V6.
The prices there are dirt cheap so someone could really get a steal on all this stuff.
