Hey folks, I am 5'2" and with the new custom roll cage in my 2006 LJ, I could not see over the new bar that is above the dash. So I raised the seats and now it is a tough stretch to reach the automatic tranmission shifter. Anyone have a legitimate way of extending the shifter knob a couple inches? I know a manual tranny would have been an easy fix, but that is not an option.

Not sure if it's a cable linkage, but you could shim the shifter up off the floor pan with some aluminum blocks or fender washers. Depends on how much room you have between the top of the shifter and the console.God forgives, rocks don't
