I am having Freeway Dan help throw my Borla header in tomorrow. I would have bought the one the 6spd posted in the top of this thread if Borla didn't replace it for free. Good luck!

ok, Ive had a borla and several banks crack. Finally, banks came out with a supposedly new design. They installed it for free after several of thiers went bad. Everytime it would crack they would replace but I was stuck swapping it out. PITA. So far so good. I just expect to swap headers every year or so, so get one with at least a lifetime warranty. A member stated that they crack no matter what: He's right.

I haven't dyno'd mine yet but I must say the my exhaust sounds mean. It is the same I had before (Borla), but i did feel a big difference recently when I added the 62mm TB. I have a 99+ intake that Warlock is going to have ported and polished for me. It may not do much now but one day I may do a stroker and will already have the wires, coil, chip, header, intake, TB to put on it. All part of the constant "upgrade game" And once you buy a Borla or Banks it is nice that if it does crack you get a new one for free. However, if I didn't already have the Borla I would have bought the low cost one listed above. High flow cat and Flow Master Muffler also make a huge difference.

BTW my stock 97 header I believe is original and hasn't cracked yet.

I would rather spend a little mor coin on something that has been redesigned with the cracking issue in mind. Plus they have a tried and true warranty. I live in the south bay anyone know of a good shop or want to give a hand to install the header I can pay cash and or food/beer. Tia
