The sPOD system consists of two parts 1) the Power Distribution Center (TheSource) and 2) the Switch Panel (sPOD). TheSource contains the relays, mounts in the engine compartment and works with any vehicle. As you have already discovered, the sPOD mounts between the sun visors and is customized to fit TJs, JKs and FJ-Cruisers/Tacomas but not for your YJ The nice thing about the sPOD system is that each circuit is capable of handling up to 30 amps so you can hook up your off-road lights directly to TheSource. The sPOD and Source retail for $455, TheSource without the sPOD retails for $320. You might be able to get the sPOD system and with some creative metal bending and metal cutting get it to fit your YJ. http://4x4spod.com

An alternative might be the WIRED HDH system.
Each circuit in the WIRED HDH system only handles 2.5 amps, so you will need relays to control your lights which typically draw 5 (or more) amps each. Some off-road light kits include the relays, otherwise, you would need something like the Bussmann relay system (see earlier post) between the HDH system and the lights. Retail $400, but I have seen them on sale for as low as $265. An advantage of the programmable HDH system is that some circuits can be wired to the battery and other circuits can be set up to work when the ignition key is on.
