i have an 05 jeep wangler and today i go to turn my ac on and the front vents are not blowing out air. the defrosters are the only thing working. i need a some help on how to fix this problem.
thank you in advance.
Is a problem with the vacuum lines that come from the reservoir to the heater control, or from the heater control the the vacuum motors that operate various doors in the heater box. With a vacuum leak the heater always defaults to defrost
Depending on if you can find it your self the cost a piece of vacuum hose
X2. If you can find the leak (usually a clean break or it crumbles when you squeeze it) replacing a vacuum hose is usually easy and almost always cheap.

thx man, but im new to jeeps, where would i find the vacuum hose
ok the vacuum reservoir for the heater is mounted under the the battery tray, see if you have vacuum there. from there it goes by the heater hoses into the cab through the firewall. The main thing you look for is engine vacuum supply from the engine to the heater switch. It's broken or disconnected some place. If all else fails swing by my place and for a few bucks I'll fix ya up
If you don't find the break on your own, I recommend that you take Art (aw12345) up on his offer. You two are close by each other, and I am sure that he can help you with the problem.
