  • 2005 Rubicon Squeezeing

Hey folks. So my 05' Rubicon started squealing last night and I have no idea what is going on. It only squeezes when I drive in forward but in reverse no noise. Very odd. Anybody know the issue or have an idea? Thanks

Squeaking??? If it only happens forward, check your brake pads. They have a tattle tale designed to chatter against the brake rotor when they wear down. Depending on the angle they are set at, they could squeal going forward and just rub without vibration (noise) in reverse.

Yeah it was hard explain exactly what it was. More like crickets going crazy. It turned out to be bad u-joints. Replaced those and a ball joint and put her back in action

Angry sparrows is the technical term used when it comes to a Jeep. Glad you found them.
