    does anyone know where i can find a torque converter for a xj its a 91 with an aw4 4.0. im looking to buy a new one.

        Try copy and paste, but take the spaces out. I refuse to believe Art would make anything that didn't work.

          Id go to pick a part and find one for cheap. Therse alot of xj's in there, just make sure the fluid looks fairly clean when you drain the trans. If not take yours to TCS "The converter shop" I think they are in chino or pomona and have them rebuild it. I am not sure they are still business but its just a thought. They use to get about $200 to rebuild your converter with good heavier duty parts. Not to mention they can change your stall speed up or down a bit also.

                Do they sell new converters also? I thought they only dealt with used parts.
