  • Glass removal that's held with adhesive

One of the things I need to do to get the "po' boy" back on the road is replace the quarter panel glass on the hard top.

Any suggestions as to how to remove the glass & adhesive that is attached to the top would be appreciated.

What kind of adhesive (maybe a tape?) is used to attach auto glass like this type.

I've been doing my best to search the web but coming up short.

    Thanks,

They use an Urethane sealant type glue.
T o remove the glue use a hit putty knife or something similar, just keep heating your removal tool with a propane torch and the stuff should come of fairly easy

Very sharp razor knife, or a very sharp putty knife. adhesive removers wont do much, you can use release agent but it will only do so much.
