      Wow, just wow. I have welded a cracked wheel weld once but luckily for me, the tire wasn't on the wheel. I'll post this up on a few forums, it's definitely something the word should be out on.

          Thanks for this post David.This brought back some memorys of a couple a M-35's I used a p-torch on to get the F'n tires off,so I passed this on to my Brothers in arms.

            Thank you all for checking that out and passing on--that's all I'm doing. I like to think I've got a pretty good head for mechanical things, but I'm as blown away as anyone by that--just not what you would expect! Hate to think about how someone could get killed by that and never know what hit them or what they'd done wrong. Heck, could be their kid for that matter.
