ITs broke!

Hi all, I have a problem with my jeep. When i try to pull it outa first gear...it wont let me... Its stuck in first gear in my driveway. Does any one knoe what it may be? MY uncle said, from what i told him it could be the Linkage or the tranny. ..

i agree with your uncle. get someone inside to wiggle the shifter, and you look at the linkage... see what you see.

worn out slave cylinder or clutch master cylinder?

Erik, your 87 had that problem, remember?

Look under the dash at there the pedal rod goes into the firewall . . . is there any fluid there? If there is then its most likely your clutch master cylinder.

not exactly.. my pedal went to nothing... his shifter is stuck.
