  • Good Mechanic

Looking for a good mechanic to rebuild my S35, guy that installed my Detroit locker and axle shafts used the existing seals, bearings, shims, crush washers etc.. now its making horrid noises and there is waayyy too much lash in the gears. Front is starting to do the same after a true-trac install. (same installer)
Called Coast Driveline $1700(!!) Anyone have luck with a shop that wont rape you on price?

X2, you would have to look far and wide to find someone else as good and honest as John is.

Not to take any thing away from All Four Wheel, but I live in the same area as you, and Corona is a long drive.

Hoppers has been around forever, all they do is rear ends and they probably have any part you'll need in stock. There isn't a better shop out there, and they're a lot closer.

Go see Rudd at Pure Power in Newbury Park. A lot of us have had him set up gears, etc for many years.

I would recommend calling Haik or Gaspar at Brothers 4X4 in Ontario. These guys do excellent work and are very reasonably priced.

                  Highly recommended!

                  Their contact number is (909)930-9955
