  • front driveshaft question

nikos has a 99 tj. He put a 03 rubi axle under the front.

we are wondering if my driveshaft will fit in his. or is the yokes different. or the lengths?? I think he has a teralow tcase in there.

anyone know if this will swap out.

seems to me his stock driveshaft ought to fit
The rubicon shaft has a flange on one side right he could take the cv end of his and stick it on your shaft to make it work. The U joints size should be the same spicer 1310

No because I lengthened the driveshaft when I added the teralow. The 44 pumpkin is longer now, so that longer driveshaft wont for me!

Your stock TJ probably has 1310 u-joints on the t-case and the rubi axle has 1330 u-joints. You will need it get a 1310/1330 combo ujoint. Go to you driveline shop and have the cut the front DS down and while they are at it balance and put the 1310/1330 joint.

A stock rubi shaft will not work on a 231 unless the changed the yoke to 1330.
