also, those 6.5 coils are way too big. I ran my XJ on 33's with 4.5 inches. You just have to bumpstop properly. You can run what you want. My experience is that bigger is not always better.
sometimes listening to the advice given to you by someone that has been-there-done-that can save you a lot of time and money. it is fine not to though. be sure to post pictures of all of this stuff bolted on there.

little re-cap to clear up any confusion.. since there has been some drama on this thread that has been cleaned up..
6.5" coils are not my intended ride height..
the jeep is going to be set at a height that keeps it high enough for good ground
clearance.. and that will accommodate 35" tall tires on a 15x8 wheel.
but that will sit as low as possible too..
I have had many years of experience driving off-road vehicles at a high rate of speed.
and because of that. .I have spent countless hours designing steering setups that offer good range of motion (travel) NO bump steer, and good street habits.
Lowering the track bar mounting points and installing a DPA help reduce the angle of the parts. which help this, Plus reduce wear and stress on joints.. and a aftermarket bracket for the track bar is stronger that the stock one. Which is also a plus... and this has worked for me...
this is my third cherokee that "I" have built for my personal use.. First two where built to race or pre-run (class 3) and have clocked 1000's of miles all over Mexico and other Desert locations.. Granted this is the First one that has been intended for Trail "ROCK CRAWL" riding.. and others will agree that so far I have been on track.. because it works damn well.. But I would like to have the option to be able to run it through some rough (whoop) sections if I so chose too.
as for the constructive criticism.. I am always up to learn something new.. But it was the "TONE" of his post that "I" didn't care for.. But Chris (DUKES69) and MYSELF cleared that all up and all is well now...
So.. as of right now.. I am in the middle of moving.. and prob. will have little or no new updates on the HEEP till I get the garage set up...
here's the jeeps new rubber..
35x12.50r15 Goodyear MTR's
building the jeep around the tire i guess..
still got to figure out the bumpstops.. and how much more to trim.. so i dont have to up the ride height.. lol
