  • Protecting the Oil Pan...

I am looking for a skid plate to protect the oil pan on the "NotSo-BrokenJeep" CJ7... I have a Chev. 350 in it and am having a hard time finding any aftermarket skid plates. Transfer case is now protected and sured up...

Does anyone know where I can pick one up or have any history fab'ing one? Any help and/or advice would be much appreciated!

So far... Googling has lead me to this article... http://www.offroaders.com/info/tech-...l-pan-skid.htm and granted they are working with a AMC 360...
    Regards,
    Randy

If you can't find a skid for your heep, I will help you fab one. You'll have to come to the shop on a weekend day. We should be able to fab ya up a nice one in no time...

I searched for the longest time looking a a CJ oil skid. I had the same luck as you....nothing. When I did my tummy tuck I made sure that the new skid was designed to accept a future add on. I'm going to fab my own. I have the material just need the time.
        Check out .

I am now in the market for a oil pan skid for my TJ after taking a hit to it on the trail the other weekend. I like the idea of fabing one up.
