Fuel sending unit

I found a complete fuel tank with sending unit and pump on CL for $80. I need the sending unit. But this is out of a 2002 wrangler. Any ideas if I will have problems putting this sending unit into my 92YJ tank? The sending unit new is $225 and its $125 at the salvage yard.
