  • Head replacement pointers???

I'm about to replace my head, lifters and pushrods. Any pointers, special tools, or anything in general to look out for swapping the head?

Good torque wrench, some compressed air to blow out the cykhead bolt holes, and some good scrapers to clean gasket surfaces and good set of hand tools

If you can afford it change the head bolts. New head bolts are always a good bet. Old bolts stretch when you torque them.

Yep, bought a Felpro head gasket (full) set and Felpro head bolts.
